Juneteenth ✊🏿

Do you know the significance of Juneteenth? It’s when the slaves were freed in America. Now it’s a federal holiday and lots of places are impacted, including schools and daycare.


As a result, Vinh made a new “friend” and got some bonus daddy and park time. I tried to save the fun stuff for mommy like bubbles, but I went to the park since he has outdoor time at daycare and it was cool outside. We got lucky and left park when it got busy and hot. It’s much easier to watch Vinh if that’s the only focus. One of the few things I can thank mi dans for. ✊🏿

I don’t know why people still insist on the rehearsal dinner and the ceremony in general. They all seem so stressed out over it. Seems dumb to volunteer and do things that stress you out. See, you can do it and want to. Just remember that feeling. Anyhow, we should probably find a better way to pack early. Not be like Tony. I started having 2 sets of toiletry items to make it a lot easier… Otherwise it’s stressful for you. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. We can do it. Safe travels tomorrow Em. ATEN!!
