Our Love Story Begins Today

I could get used to Sunday golf. It’s a good way to end the weekend, but it does require waking up early. It also means more people can possibly golf too I think. If Jay golfs more, more free golf. WWW that Dina can’t watch Vinh. Hope she’s okay and no one else gets sick. My golf game is currently sucking if that makes you feel any better. This is the 9th hole. I hope I get an eagle. I got him to sleep on the other side for a little bit. It’s like the way he sometimes sleeps with you on your chest. Me and him don’t usually sleep together that way… Anyhow, he slept through the night. I’m currently holding him so he can sleep while you snore away. What time you getting up? I caught him making eating noises while he slept. He also smiled. Haven’t caught that in a while. TYGQD!!!

I’m sorry if my responses this morning were off putting. Sometimes I get annoyed when someone think I don’t know what I’m doing. But I guess you’re just trying to be be helpful and certain. I’ll work on my reaction, but this is where my feelings are coming from.  I didn’t get to golf today or do your baptism class, but it was still a productive and pleasant day. Next time I’ll nap longer. You heard it, next time. I need to take more of these days off. TLT!!!

We did not escape today. I have to claim poor design of the room, but it was a good experience. Surprisingly, none of our work teams escaped so I don’t feel too bad. But it would have been nice to escape. Sadly, we had Thai food for lunch. Thanks Tanya, but I’m all Thaied out. Guess that’s a good problem to have, but I really debated bringing food home. Such a dilemma, but I opted not to. TLG!!!

So many things I could blog about today. Let’s find a picture. It wasn’t my intention to be recognized. Not even sure if there was an option to be anonymous. It kind of sucks that we didn’t get the $1000, but I guess we don’t really need it. Have to keep reminding myself of that when it comes to a lot of things. Blessed and not broke. TTQD!!!

It’ll make the trip a little less worrisome. At least you’ll have Anna and Alex to help. Hopefully they won’t miss not seeing me 😂. He seems to be okay with meds so 🙏. TYGN!!!

Thanks for all you do for Vinh. It’s a team effort to raise him. Thanks for also paying for my golf trip. It will minimize how much I go over budget for May, although I think I’m gonna stop tracking after April. I for a pretty good idea of where I stand.  I’m just sitting here waiting for Vinh to wake up. How ironic that he sleeps when I’m waiting for him, but won’t sleep when I need him to. Man, my body and mind are pretty sore and exhausted. I need to make sure I get back to before my trip. TLG!!!

Daddy and Baby want to thank Mommy for letting Daddy go golfing. It gives daddy some time to have fun and relax. It gives Baby some one on one time to hopefully learn to love Mommy more than daddy. Unfortunately, it makes mommy tired.  Hoping to get a sitter for mommy next Sunday. Daddy needs to get practice in before his trip. TBTMN!!!

You asked for 5 minutes. I gave you 5 minutes. See how easy that is? That’s how communication works. If you’re thinking you need 5 minutes, but you don’t communicate that with me, how would I know?  You ask me if it’s okay that you don’t 💨 because you don’t know if it’s okay, because I didn’t tell you. I tell you it’s okay, so now you know. There are non verbal forms of communication, but the verbal kind works the best. If you expect me to be a mind reader, than you better believe I will expect you to be one too. There’s your bonus lesson, no one likes hypocrites. TLG!!!

In a week of big womps, this is a little one: I probably should have read the label and notice that the material was plastic. I also think our dryer was accidentally left on high. Maybe it didn’t melt when it was on medium. I hope the dryer is okay. Hoping we all get some rest and reset this weekend. Although we seemed to have things to do. TLG!!!

I took a walk today. Can’t remember the last time I walked over a freeway overpass. Does the count as being more active? Wish I wore shoes and sunglasses… I don’t like driving in a dirty car, so I took the sequoia for a wash. Long line so I decided to walk to FedEx. Www because I crossed the street only to find that side didn’t have a freeway crosswalk so I had to go back to the other side. Trying to incorporate activities into my dad. TTQD!!!

Co Hong went home today. To the home with God and Ma Dien. Unfortunately, she had to leave a lot of people behind to go. On a separate note, I know I shouldn’t bet, but I wanted to bet today and was going to, but got distracted and didn’t. And of course he won $4000 so far. In honor of my www, here’s your www. But this only costs $4. I probably would have wagered 10% so I loss out on $400. I need to learn to be happy for the winner and not want them to lose because I didn’t get to bet. TLG!!!

Tomorrow they lay Co Hong to rest. Today was a bittersweet ceremony. I didn’t feel it was appropriate to take pictures, but there were lots of colorful flowers. I really like the chapel. I was thinking if I was ever rich, maybe I would build my own chapel to pray in. Anyhow, this little guy wouldn’t be here without Co Hong. So you should thank her. TTQD!!

Man, people are being stupid today. I guess it’s similar to happy wife, happy life. But I’m not happy, even if the customer is… Downside of big cars is parking. Maybe I just need more practice. Anyhow. Gonna leave the dumb people at work and refocus and change mindset for home time. TLG!!!

No cutie, but pretty cute nonetheless. It was nice to have a quiet day today. I know we still have to see my parents and Avery, but even if we didn’t, we’d be okay. Does that make us anti-social? I’m glad he was able to sleep with you and you could get some sleep. It’s going on 90 minutes now, so I think I only have another 30 to cook and eat. Hope your guys’ rest was QT, quality time. Jesus said that people who don’t need proof to believe are great. But they could also be ignorant? Anyhow, I was sure what to write about and got distracted by a butt in church. Today I learned about hoeflation and it’s hilarious. It basically says that I have to work 5x harder than my grandfather to get a woman 20x worse than my grandma. #facts STEN!!

Today the dentist complimented me on my home care. I wonder if it’s just because he likes me or if it’s really better? I did give up candy for lent. But are baked goods better for me than candy or just my teeth. Anyhow, I went and got some candy today. For Art some too. I’ll try to pace how much I eat. TLT!!!

For some reason when I smell Vinh’s hair I got really sleepy. But this was at home. I didn’t fall asleep behind the wheel today. He just ate 4 ounces and fell asleep. Four minutes passed 609, I think formula is okay. Apparently I felt a cold bottle so I think they only used 2 bottles today. He fell asleep pretty fast after I took the bottle out. I want to lay down and sleep with him. We will see if he lets me. Gonna try to keep him upright for a few minutes. Wasn’t sure if he was gonna sleep since it’s so bright now. I was chatting with Eric briefly today. He started his second job last night. He was pretty tired and shaking, but he had to make food for the family. I guess they put the kids in an after school program so he has more time to get things done. I forgot to change the name on an email today and now the person knows who else is offering the program, but not that it matters too much just kinda unprofessional. Not to say work is gonna be easy tomorrow, but I think I can finally get back to some routine after tonight. Have to watch a seminar at 7, but I told Carolyn she should speak and not me. TLG!!

For Easter, I wanted us to reset our relationship. I’m going to try and not bring anything up from prior to Easter in our disagreements. But I would like you to be more open minded during our discussions. I don’t want you to be too scared to think or act so we’re gonna try to redo this. But now you do have a head start on information, but you don’t have be too scared. Unless you repeatedly make the same error after Easter 😂. I was worried about staining my clothes because I didn’t pack extra. TLG!!!

Man, today has been a shit show. I wish I could confirm if I missed a meeting or if it was just not on calendar. Anyhow, mistakes are only worth if we learn from them. I need to figure out what went wrong today so I can learn from it.  I wonder if that dent was always there or if it was from today’s drop in the kitchen. Hope the floor is okay. I have a few things I want if you are itching to buy things for me. I need a new phone case, travel backpack that can fit laptop and clothes, new water bottle cause this one sucks, and I think there’s a few other things. Please don’t buy without asking me for my opinions. We both know your tastes are different from mine 😂 TLG!!!

Jasmine is very cute. Her and Vinh have a lot of similar features. Makes sense why they’re both cute. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to take any pictures of her today, but we both saw her. Here’s someone cute too. It’s sad about Vina’s mom. Let us pray. Please tell her I said hi when you go see her. 🙏 ATEN!!!

Although it feels like Sunday. Do you know what 666 means? Kinda ironic that today is the 666th blog post. Gotta kill time while I wait for the bus.  What a coincidence that I thought you might want banh canh cua today and maybe go to Saigon Oi since you didn’t like Pho Ru is what I thought in the bathroom. Anyhow I have surprise for you tomorrow if I remember. 😮 TTQD!!!

Maybe I should really start a diet called the Good Friday diet. It might help lose weight if I ate less and didn’t eat meat everyday. I’m gonna start when Jesus comes back. But I have a feeling that as soon as I feel super healthy, I’m gonna pass. That’s the way life seems to work I think. That’s why a small part of me feels like I need things to do or my life will end…TYGN!!

We have a lot of work to do. If not for ourselves, for Vinh. I sent you a few videos that talk about relationships. If you have ideas, you should let me know too. One thing that always bothers me is the negative spin that I hear. It may not be your intention, but it really annoys me because it’s very defeatist. I know you’re gonna make mistakes again, but it’d be nice if you were more optimistic in responses. WTVMCO!!!

But today I tried to go with the flow and just ydy until I was needed so it wasn’t as bad so far, but still annoying.  Gotta work in me since I can’t work on them. We make fun of Ritchie saying he’s blessed, but he’s also the chillest and less stressed guy. Wonder how he’s doing with the whole lawsuit. TLG!!!

What I wanted to blog about today. Distractions. Too many of them. It’s my fault for thinking I could work while on vacation with a child and family. It’s not possible to change others. They have to want to and change on their own. All we can do is control our own actions and reactions. That’s the challenge. TLG!!!

There really is something amazing and priceless about free time. I feel bad for the family, but for us, it made much more sense not to go to Lego Land. I didn’t get much work done yet, but I was able to get organized which is a blessing in itself. I’m even able to relax and blog. This is vacation 😂. Anyhow, I’m glad you and Vinh got to rest. Still a week of “vacation” left. TTQD!!!

Not that palm, but this 🌴. Anyhow it was a long mass per usual Catholic holiday related masses. I was able to pray today for everyone, but I never really see much progress. Or maybe it could be worse if I didn’t pray. I couldn’t find a vestibule, but I did find this. Maybe I should buy a candle from the dollar (twenty-five) tree for the next time we go to mass? TTQD!! I can hear your talk with Trang, I have to remind you that saying things that are true isn’t always the solution…
