Our Love Story Begins Today

Uncertainty is still in the air, but in light of that, we had to say goodbye to our family from Florida… I remember when I was little, my uncle would always give us money when he left after visiting. Wonder if people still do that. I didn’t give anyone any money though. Still praying for everything to get better. But still working in plan Bs. TLG!!!

Not sure there’s anyone out there that enjoys uncertainty. I do not and currently, there’s a lot of uncertainty in our lives.  Family is generally consistent, but that seems uncertain now too. I hope everything resolves itself soon and preferably in a positive way for everyone involved 🙏. TLGT!!!

That was yesterday. Today is 778. Not as cool. Anyhow, as you probably say in Vinh’s blog, we’re charging and you’re sleeping. Adding 100 miles cost $10.90. I better remember to unplug before I drive off 😂 . I wonder how that compares to home and gas. Anyhow think I’m gonna head out early from charging. Got 200+ miles now which should get us home. Not sure if there’s anyone else still waiting, but it was a fast wait. Interesting concept and future…

I’ve always had mixed feelings about family. It’s great it they’re cool, but sometimes they suck and there’s nothing you can do cause you’re related.  But my cousins from Florida from my mom’s sisters are easy. Hopefully they’re having a good time. It’s their vacation after all. I wonder if you know the girl from San Jose…

You said you wanted to be a nun? I also wanted to be a priest? Why didn’t you become a nun? I didn’t become a priest because I was worried about who would take care of my parents. Maybe if I win the lottery now, I can still be a priest… Just heard a story about 2 religious people that fell in love. You think you could have fallen in love with me if we met at the monastery? MESTAN?

Someone was telling me they don’t understand why they get paid so much and they don’t really know the business. Got me thinking about all the people who get paid to do a job and don’t do it. It’s sad that it seems like only the Japanese see honor in doing your job. Tips are insulting as a result. It’d be nice if everyone else treated their responsibilities the same way. But I think the world is now full of entitlement and obliviousness. TLG!!!

But not everything has to. Look at what the cost of utilities were a long time ago… Priorities change as well, but we have the power to choose what we do and what’s important to us. Remember also, somethings are serious, but you can’t control. Focus on the important things you can control and worry about those. Otherwise you’re wasting your time and energy. I found these pictures and decided to blog about it. ATEN (I decided to prioritize this)!!!

It never ends, until you die. Sorry. But then again, you prayed for this. Www. Hopefully you’re enjoying it more than not. I think I’m not enjoying it more than I do. Praying it gets better or we do, but I don’t think it works like that. Thanks for all you do for VINH. 

More like big mess. Anyhow, another busy weekend has come to an end and you have to work early tomorrow. Hopefully Vinh let’s you sleep well 🙏. I was debating throwing it away when we got home, but I just ate it. Figured I paid for it and it wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t great either. At least we know, although bird’s nest isn’t something I’d ever order. TLG!!!

…another dollar. Not a bad day today. Got golf in. Coffee with the guys. Church done. Helped out Nate. Wife got adjusted. Everyone ate. But I didn’t get any work done. Sucky park job bro.. Guess there’s always tomorrow. Also didn’t win the lottery, so I guess there’s always Tuesday for that. That could be helpful in the rehabilitation of Nate and Kiem. Anyhow, there’s also one more thing I’m waiting to see if it gets done or not. Can you guess? DON!!!

Sorry that you feel you’re (we’re) horrible, but I think it’s really okay. But if you’re that concerned, then yes, you can filter yourself better in the future. So fresh and so clean. I put the Eiffel Tower keychain on the house keys. Sorry she experienced the bug. Www. I hope she has a pleasant time here and maybe you can bond a little. And I promise not to hit on her or put cameras in her room or bathroom 😂. You worry too much. ATEN!!

I get voluntold to do things. Today I took people sightseeing in Sacramento. Makes me realize how unexciting it is here from a sightseeing perspective. At church the Chu water bottle leaked and so I sat in it since we didn’t have towel. WWW. It wasn’t much, but I hope they enjoyed it. Or at least got some benefit over the time spent. ATEN!!!

Evan said I only play luxury sports…. Well Uyen got a luxury car for the luxury of not getting into a hot or cold car, 😂. It’s okay though. You work hard and should be able to enjoy life. Avoiding the heat and cold is definitely enjoyable. Drive safe and comfortably. ATEN!!!

You got a new car!!! Notice how I didn’t saw “win”. Nope, we got to pay for this one, but it’s all yours and you deserve something nice. Better than the Lexus you didn’t get all those years ago. Sorry I dinged it, but better me than you right? Anyhow, please enjoy it and don’t stress too much. ATEN!!!

If you could take some time to think about where you feel I’m ranked in your life and wear you feel that I rank you in my life, based on treatment. In my opinion you’re #1 in my life. If I had to choose between you and Vinh, I’d still choose you (the original version I hope). I will make an effort to communicate better and softly. If you feel you’re not #1, then let me know what I can do. ASTYN!!!

You don’t need to feel bad about your tummy too much. First off all, I didn’t marry you for your tummy. Second of all, lots of people have tummies still after birth. Third of all, some people haven’t even given birth, work out, eat healthy and still have tummies. Remember when your tummy was like this? Good times. Not cause of your tummy, but for plenty of other reasons. Www. ATYTN!!!

Good thing it’s pay day because we’re about to start a new payment, www. I’m glad you got the color you want and I hope we don’t have any issues with the car. This was the best food I’ve eaten so far on this trip. It’s not even that fancy. Hope no one wanted the noodles cause I finished them. You snooze, you lose. Guess we’re not leaving at 1pm either 😂. NMPT.

Sometimes it’s best to let things lie. Some things are better left unsaid and undone. The hard part is to know when and to do it what. That’s why we should ask God for wisdom as well. I guess you could prayer for ignorance which is blissful too. Only a few more days left of this trip. Hope we make the most of it. So far I think it’s going well. ATEN!!!

I know I can survive with Vinh alone, but it sure isn’t fun or easy. I wonder why the nebulizer keeps have liquid in the chamber. Anyhow, hope you have fun with Lucas and Anna today. Me and Vinh will just pretend like we’re waiting for you to get home from work. It’s nice to have help here. Hope they enjoy it as quality time and don’t feel like we’re taking advantage of them. WWW if they do…

Seems like we’re going on a lot of road trips this week. The Syracuse one was successful except that I didn’t have good snacks and I got charged for extra foam at Starbucks and didn’t get it… This was the parking lot at Target when you had to pee and couldn’t see how close they were parked. The girl looked at me funny when I took the picture. If you send me a picture of the Keefes I can replace it. I hope they turned out okay cause I’m not a photographer. TLG!!!

Today’s sermon was about burdens (yokes). It was very apt. It’s funny sometimes how that works. I was wondering during the sermon if it’s God’s intention that we all are paired off or become nuns/priests. It doesn’t seem to me like the church would want single people hanging around… Anyhow, I got burdens and I sure how God can help me carry them. Usually the term yoke involves 2 animals being tied together by the yoke. So does that mean God is my partner? What about the footprints in the sand, where God is supposed to be carrying me? 🤔 and 🙏.

It looks like we weren’t doing anything today and probably could have completed another sessions of counseling. It is what it is I guess. Today I was thinking the times when you told me you don’t know what you’d do if I ever left. I guess those times have changed. Seems like the only thing that changed was in our relationship was marriage and Vinh. 🤔 I don’t think I’m any different now then I was then except a little fatter with lower blood pressure. How do we get back to that time? We were both better off? TLG!!!

Before boba, I only had one cross to bear. Now it looks like I have 2 crosses. They may be small, but they are heavy. And they’re both always trying to hurt me. Still trying to figure out what the Lord is trying to help me with by giving me these crosses. So far I’ve only been asking for peoples’ health, souls, and the lottery…TLG!!!

Supposed to be lucky, but who knows. I didn’t have a photo to use so I took this one. Don’t know what to blog about today, so how about a question. What do/did you expect out of marriage/partner? Based on that, what should be expected of you in the marriage/partner? 🤔 

Never judge a book by its cover. Today I listen to this podcast about this lady that scammed people by renting from them and never paying and trying to sue them. You hear horror stories like this all the time now, but this was an old lady.  Then at Costco this little old Filipino lady cut in front of me at the self checkout and the Costco worker let her go first. I don’t know what ended up happening, but she ended up not using self checkout and I still finished before her. Be careful out there..TLG!!!

I’ve been meaning to tell you that I have newfound appreciation for all you do for Vinh. When I had to take care of Vinh alone while you were at work. I’ve taken care of Vinh during Covid, but he’s more active now. Thanks for letting me play MJ. I hope you also appreciate all that I do too. ATEN!!!

To many more events as a family. On the birthday of America it’s good go appreciate what we have. Birthdays are also a reminder that our time here is limited and to make the best use of that time. ATYGN!!!

I’m at the county recorder to get another copy of Vinh’s birth certificate. So much to do today. Anyhow, there’s a man here and it turns out his Vietnamese. He is looking for property records to see info on his home. He is claiming his wife tricked him into signing a quit claim deed to their home. Obviously we don’t know her side of the story, but the poor worker didn’t know what to say. But it does remind us to be careful who we trust. I hope we can trust Vinh, but if we can’t, is it our fault or God’s? DLLC!!!

Not sure if you knew, but Vinh isn’t gonna be able to marry Jasmine. I heard it mentioned before and today Jenny said it’s nice that Jasmine is sitting with her future father in law. Maybe she’ll fall in love with Vinh and it’ll be one of those love triangles where Aiden love Jasmine, but Jasmine loves Vinh, but Vinh loves Jesus or Aimee. Guess we’ll just have to wait and find out. DTQD!!!

You’re favorite niece is here. I hope you enjoyed the jokes and laugh she provides. She’s only here until Tuesday morning so make sure to get your time in. I wonder how much of Tuyen’s desserts I can eat before they start to do harm. I want another green one. TLG!!!
