Creating Monsters

I was listening to the podcast episode of Hidden Brain about these psych experiments and it was about how people easily listen to “authority”.


People listened to the experimenters and did horrible things. It reminded me of this guy that said his wife listens to her boss without question, but doesn’t listen to him. I don’t expect you to listen to me for everything, but I would hope that you would listen to me for a lot of things. Especially because I should be the most important person in your life? But it doesn’t seem that way. I wish I could find someone you’d listen to so I could see if they could help…

I don’t know why people still insist on the rehearsal dinner and the ceremony in general. They all seem so stressed out over it. Seems dumb to volunteer and do things that stress you out. See, you can do it and want to. Just remember that feeling. Anyhow, we should probably find a better way to pack early. Not be like Tony. I started having 2 sets of toiletry items to make it a lot easier… Otherwise it’s stressful for you. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. We can do it. Safe travels tomorrow Em. ATEN!!
