Prepare The Road

Last week’s sermon was about being ready because you never know when the time will come. This week’s sermon was about preparing the road. Or at least that’s what I assume from all the songs. Well either way, they’re both good ideas, but like most good advice, I failed to follow. 
I’m always reminded of the meme that wishes in shape was as easy as getting fat. I wished having my life together was as easy as not having my life together. I’m not perfect and I know that, but I’m starting to think striving for perfection makes it easier to fail…anyhow, gonna start trying to get my life in shape. I’m gonna shoot for 90%. That’s still an A-. Hopefully that will make it easier to achieve than shooting for A+ knowing I probably can’t get that. #Advent. TLG!!!

I don’t know why people still insist on the rehearsal dinner and the ceremony in general. They all seem so stressed out over it. Seems dumb to volunteer and do things that stress you out. I’m sorry to run up their tab, but I’m sure they would have ran up mine and they don’t mind. At least it’s probably cheaper than alcohol…

See, you can do it and want to. Just remember that feeling. Anyhow, we should probably find a better way to pack early. Not be like Tony. I started having 2 sets of toiletry items to make it a lot easier… Otherwise it’s stressful for you. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. We can do it. Safe travels tomorrow Em. ATEN!!
