Expecting perfection often leads to disappointment. But striving for perfection can often lead to better than average results. It’s one of those ironies. That’s kind of how today went. Don’t let “great” be the enemy of “good” is what they say.
Whenever I expect my life to be perfect, I’m disappointed. But when I try to be perfect, I never am, but the results are usually good. Life isn’t going to be perfect, but it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t for perfection. What’s important is that we don’t let the failure get us down. Rather, we use failure to learn and grow.
