July 5th (4th)

Geez, my mom talks loud. Anyhow, today felt odd. It’s like I was off, but it felt like I wasn’t supposed to be off. Streets had cars as it if was a weekend, but it’s a weekday. Gas line at Costco was busy today…


Family isn’t always easy, but when it’s good, it’s great. When it’s bad, it’s horrible. It would also seem that the old adage “distance makes the heart grow fonder” is mor definitely true with family for me. It just takes longer to miss someone if you see them all the time. It’s also hard to appreciate. I had a dream when I napped that you were gonna be home at 6 pm to be a buffer for my mom, but then I realized that wouldn’t be early enough anyways. Life needs good buffers. TLG!!

I don’t know why people still insist on the rehearsal dinner and the ceremony in general. They all seem so stressed out over it. Seems dumb to volunteer and do things that stress you out. I’m sorry to run up their tab, but I’m sure they would have ran up mine and they don’t mind. At least it’s probably cheaper than alcohol…

See, you can do it and want to. Just remember that feeling. Anyhow, we should probably find a better way to pack early. Not be like Tony. I started having 2 sets of toiletry items to make it a lot easier… Otherwise it’s stressful for you. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. We can do it. Safe travels tomorrow Em. ATEN!!
